About the role

For our operations within the ISS Direct business area, we are looking for a service-oriented, driven, and engaged operations manager who wants to develop people and businesses. The area of responsibility is part of Southern Norrland, which is currently divided into five different geographical operational areas, each with an operations manager.

The position is permanent with a start date as agreed.

As an operations manager, you will have financial responsibility as well as customer and personnel responsibility for your operational area. You are expected to continuously monitor the industry and actively work to increase organic growth through upselling and service development. The operations manager is also responsible for customer relationships and ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with applicable agreements. In collaboration with the customer, you strive for continuous improvements and development of ISS delivery.

As an operations manager, you are naturally responsible for leading the business towards set goals in close collaboration with customers, employees, and your immediate manager. You are also responsible for ensuring that the business is optimally sized and staffed.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a driven and communicative leader with the ability to motivate your surroundings to achieve results and set goals. You need to be social and enjoy working in a team. To succeed in the role, you are expected to be passionate about business development and have the will and ability to create new business. You also have the ability to develop and streamline existing operations and value high quality and customer satisfaction. You are administrative, like order and structure, and have a passion for providing service to customers!

As an operations manager at ISS, you are expected to have a developed leadership ability characterized by communication, stability, result orientation, and employee development. Therefore, experience in leadership is an advantage, as the work involves many personal contacts both within and outside the organization, requiring good collaboration skills and an interest in people. You also have a good ability to build trust and develop long-term relationships. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You have a high school education and experience in leadership, finance, personnel, administration, and customer relations. You likely have experience from a similar labor-intensive industry. You communicate well in Swedish and have very good IT skills. A driver's license is required as travel is involved in the position.
